FIRE crews have urged people to think before they park after discovering vehicles parked across fire access points in Studland.
A post on the Swanage Fire Station Facebook page said: “Over the last week we have had several calls to people having BBQ’s and camp fires on beaches and heathland.
”Also yesterday crews were in the Studland area and cars were parked across fire access points as well as a bike being chained to one.
“At several points along Ferry Road it was single car width only.
“If a serious incident happened emergency service would really struggle along there.
“The ground and grassland is still very dry at the moment. There’s a risk of a few showers over the next few days but will do little to dampen the dry conditions.
“Please do not ignore the signs and think before you park.”
