POLICE have released CCTV images of two women they want to speak to following attempted fraudulent use of bank cards found in Wimborne.
A man lost his wallet between 2.35pm and 2.40pm on Friday, May 29 at the Co-op store on Crown Mead.
He was then contacted by his bank in relation to unusual transactions later that afternoon.
He subsequently discovered his cards had been used in an attempt to purchase goods online.
Police community support investigator Kate Hann, of East Dorset police, said: “We have been making a number of enquiries into these matters, including attempting to establish what details were used to make the online payments. However, these have so far proved unsuccessful.
“I am now in a position to release CCTV images of two women who may be able to provide information to assist my investigation.
“I would ask anyone who recognises them to please contact Dorset Police.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting occurrence number 55200076410.
Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
