A CAR crashed into a ditch on the side of the A338 Spur Road.
Police were called to the single-vehicle crash involving a blue BMW at 4.15pm on Thursday.
The incident happened near the Ashley Heath roundabout on the soutbound carriageway.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a road closure was put in place at around 5.25pm to enable recovery of the vehicle.”
The road closure was lifted at around 6.25pm.
