I THINK the council made the wrong decision to reopen car parks.

One can only assume this was done for revenue not safety.

After the disgraceful scenes from the weekend, I implore Bournemouth council to review the decision.

You are putting the lives if local people at risk. Councillor Slade is on record as saying if local residents go to beauty spots that are busy, we should go home.

Clearly visitors are more important than residents at this perilous time.

All the hard work and sacrifice of the past twelve weeks can so easily be undone.

The virus is still prevalent, PLEASE put the residents first and close the car parks.

Visitors will be welcomed back when it’s safe to do so. At the moment that isn’t the case.
