LIFEBOAT crews went to the aid of a fishing boat which was drifting after its engine failed.
Swanage's all weather lifeboat was launched yesterday morning after two people on board the small boat called for help.
They were drifting rapidly west in a strong ebb tide in Poole Bay.
The boat was towed to Poole Quay where the people on board waited for a friend to bring them a replacement engine.
