POLICE who stopped a 17-year-old boy riding a motorbike at twice the speed limit showed CCTV of his actions to his dad.
They stopped the bike after witnessing it travelling at 60mph in a 30mph limit in Dunyeats Road in Broadstone on Friday May 15.
A spokesman for Dorset Police No Excuse said: "We had a long chat with him and his dad, who happened to be close by. They watched his actions on our CCTV.
"This was a big wake up call for the rider and we believe he now understands the consequences of his actions. We will never know but hopefully we have prevented a serious collision by stopping and educating him."
