AS Ringwood Junior School approaches it's 110th anniversary, the Daily Echo takes a look at a special birthday from the past.
Nostalgia swept through the corridors of the school as they celebrated their 80th anniversary on May 23, 1990.
The older generation were invited back to recall their days as pupils.
There was plenty of memorabilia to bring back the old days – including the punishment book.
One entry in 1912 said a 12-yer-old boy got two of the best for "imprudence."
But none among the 25 pensioner there that day owned up to being the culprit.
The children staged a play called Around the School in 80 Years, which featured high points from the log books through the years.
