It's the day when children across Dorset dress up as their favourite characters from their best loved books.
Daily Echo photographers took to schools on March 10, 2000, to get pictures of the children in their fancy outfits.
Among those snapped were Dennis the Menace, Snow White, Robin Hood and Tinkerbell.
