A MAN who stole steak and alcohol in a spate of thefts from Co-op stores has appeared in court.
Adam David Power, 37, of Spencer Road in Bournemouth admitted the offences when he appeared before magistrates in Poole on Friday March 13.
He pleaded guilty to stealing £9 worth of steak from the Holdenhurst Road store on February 20 and to stealing alcohol worth £50 from the same store the previous day.
He also admitted stealing £50 worth of alcohol from the store on October 15 last year and assaulting a person and attempting to steal steak and Red Bull in the Charminster Road Co-op on February 25.
Power was also dealt with for a series of offences for which he received a conditional discharge last year including theft of wine and possession of class C drugs.
He was given a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay total compensation of £96.
