POLICE have released images of a number of suspected stolen bikes that were recovered in Bournemouth in a bid to identify the owners.

Officers were called to attend an address in Christchurch Road at around 11.55pm on Sunday 1 March 2020 and at the property they found a number of bikes.

Two of the bikes have already been identified as being reported stolen from alleged burglaries in the Bournemouth area.

A 39-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested and subsequently charged with handling stolen goods. He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, April 3.

The bikes that were recovered include the following:

• A white and green Trek Alpha road bike with the serial number WTU034GO220D

• A black Cannondale Hybrid bike with the serial number HA0XL04

• A brown Surly mountain bike with the serial number M14012381

• A grey and red Specialized Sport Disc cross trail bike with the serial number WSBC812017571H

• A white, pink and grey Specialized mountain bike with the serial number WSBC606158328J

• A black and turquoise Specialized Enduro cross trail bike with the serial number WSBC613006873M

Bournemouth Echo:

• A black Trek electric bike with the serial number WTU171DH5545M

Bournemouth Echo:

• A grey Gtech Escent electric bike with the serial number WS16050768

Police Constable Paul Few, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “We are keen to identify the owners of the above bikes and I would urge anyone with information to please contact us.”
