CHARITY shops in Christchurch and New Milton have recently been donated some rather obscure items recently, including the head of a baby alligator.

The Scope charity shop in Christchurch was donated the animal’s head which was quickly snapped up by a mother whose young son collects fossils for £5.

Other items include a Bog-Standard Boris Toilet Brush featuring the face of Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson, priced at £5, and a retro Coke Bottle from 1996, which is on offer from £30 which can be found at the charity shop in Wimborne.

A spokesman from the charity said: “Donations are vital to charity shops.

“Each bag donated to Scope can raise funds to support running Scope’s helpline service, giving disabled people and their families vital support and information, or it can help provide a trained professional to give advice on Scope’s online community.

“With Spring fast approaching now’s a good time to think about having a Spring Clean and donating unwanted items to your nearest charity shop, like Scope for example.”
