RUNNERS can be sprayed with foam cannons this summer – all in the aid of a good cause, of course.

Bubble Rush will return to Upton Country Park on July 19 for Naomi House and Jacksplace, hospices for seriously ill children and young adults.

The fundraising team at the charity hope families will get their bubble on and raise a foam-tastic sum by getting sponsored to take on the challenge.

The event will start in a sea of foam and will later progress to four bubble stations surrounding the course where foam canons will pump out masses of coloured bubbles, resulting in a huge foam bath.

This bubbly fun will be experienced twice as it's a two-lap 2.5km event.

You can walk, run or dance through the course as it is not a timed race.

The course is also suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Marketing manager for Bubble Rush, Diana Caldwell, said: "We’re so excited to be working with Naomi House and Jacksplace again this year.

"Every bubbly step that people take can raise vital funds for the charity to help them continue to provide respite and emergency care, end-of-life care and ongoing bereavement support."

Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Adult tickets are £15, child tickets (aged 3-15) cost £8 and a family ticket costs £42.

The entry price includes a Bubble Rush t-shirt and a finishers medal.
