THE driver of a Maserati reportedly peeled the tint off his car windows in front of police officers after he was pulled over in Bournemouth town centre.

The Italian vehicle had extremely dark tint on the front window screen and both front side windows.

Officers from Dorset Police's No Excuse Team said they stopped the vehicle and dealt with the driver.

An officer from the team said: "Fair enough to him he peeled the tint off there and then.

"Believe it or not the tint in the picture was on the front window screen and both front windows how the driver could see anything we don't know.

"Tint this bad makes the vehicle in a dangerous condition."

The team also spotted an unattended Audi parked dangerously on zig zag lines while the owner went to get a coffee.

"The offending coffee is on top of the car. After the driver saw the officer with the car she came back to it stating she was in hurry to get back to work. There is no excuse to park without thinking of others safety."

It was reported that the driver was dealt with by way of an educational driver's awareness course at a cost of £120.
