MOTORISTS experienced long delays in Bournemouth and Poole following a crash between a lorry and a car on the A338 Wessex Way.
The incident took place near County Gates roundabout and led to the closure of the road.
Police were in attendance after being called to the scene at 10.45am to reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Wessex way at the LV roundabout is now closed. All traffic is diverting via Westbourne and local roads, which in turn is delaying our bus services considerably. Please allow extra time for your journey. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. ^JB

The crash involved a black Mercedes and a white Renault lorry.
The road reopened at 1.11pm.
