A NEW fish restaurant will open for business in Southbourne within weeks.
SOBO:FISH will open in Seabourne Road, in the former Joy Indian Restaurant, at the end of February.
The business will be run by Matt Betteridge and will use local suppliers, many of whom are also based in Southbourne.
They include Dorset Fish Stall, Southbourne Ales, Parlourmentary cheeses, Bakehouse 24, Webster Family Butcher and Bournemouth Pies.
Matt is the former owner of Bournemouth Pies in nearby Christchurch Road, which is now run by his daughter.
The restaurant will offer private hire, live music, buffets and banquets.
