A SERIES of night closures will take place on roads around Christchurch due to “essential maintenance”.
The A35 Christchurch by-pass, Salisbury Road and Burton Road will be affected by the closures, which are due to take place at the end of February.
Christchurch byass eastbound between Stony Lane Roundabout and Somerford Roundabout, and Salisbury Road at its junction with the bypass, will likely close for three nights between February 24 and 26.
The westbound bypass between the same two roundabouts, and Burton Road at its junction with the dual carriageway, is due to close on February 26 and 25 at night
The council have said that the closures are required for “essential maintenance, including carriageway surface patching, drainage clearance, verge cutting, signage maintenance, line marking and litter clearance”.
Diversions will be put in place via Purewell Cross Road, Somerford Road and Somerford Roundabout.
