A JEWELLERY haul including several "unique" items was taken from Christchurch Shopping Village in an overnight burglary.

Police are investigating the incident at the site off Bridge Street that took place at around 4.45am on Thursday, December 12.

It was reported that a break in occurred at the site and a large number of jewellery items were stolen from a glass display cabinet.

Officers investigating the burglary are appealing for information and have released releasing images of the stolen goods.

Police Constable Matt Brennan, of East Dorset police, said: “Many of the items that were stolen are unique pieces that are not available on general sale.

“I am releasing images of a number of these items in the hope that someone may come across them. I would urge anyone with information in relation to these items being offered for sale to please contact us.”
