POLICE stopped the driver of a top-of-the-range Ferrari this week – because the car's licence plate was too small.
Officers from Dorset Police's No Excuse team saw the car in Branksome Wood Road, Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
As the plate didn't comply with the law, the officers pulled the driver over.
An officer from the team said: "A vehicle was seen being driven with a small number plate.
"The driver stated his vehicle looked better with a smaller number plate so he put it on.
"Please remember all vehicles must comply to regulations.
"This driver has been fined."
