WITH reference to the new attractions coming to Upton Country Park, ever since it was opened up, there have been problems in our small estate – Pony Drive etc.

Visitors to the park are constantly parking – for hours, some of them – in Pony Drive and the adjoining roads.

When spoken to, they say “We are not going to pay to park at the house” and “This is a public road”.

It’s causing danger, as residents leaving Pony Drive have to drive on the offside of the road and are meeting head-on with vehicles coming in from Poole Road.

Residents have been abused and a while ago my wife was threatened when she took a photograph of the jam.

All we want is a little consideration but no one seems interested.
