SUPPORTERS of AFC Bournemouth on average face more hours of work to afford a season ticket than 12 of their Premier League rivals.
Based on the average hourly pay for residents in the area, Cherries fans have to work 32 hours and 43 minutes to buy the cheapest available season ticket, costing £550, according to research by LiveFootballTickets.com.
Followers of Wolves, Manchester United, Arsenal, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Norwich, Tottenham and Liverpool all face more hours work to afford season tickets for their respective clubs when based on the local average pay rate, which was sourced from Office of National Statistics data.
The data suggested Chelsea fans only had to work 19 hours and 51 minutes to cover the cost of a £750 season ticket.
