1. GET your skates on for the final weekend of Bournemouth's iconic ice rink, which is open from 10.30am to 11pm every day until Sunday. Tickets are £11.50 for adults with concessions available.
  2. Catch Bournemouth Pavilion's annual winter pantomime before the curtain closes for another year on Sunday. Follow Aladdin, his brother Wishee Washee and his mother, Widow Twankey, on a spectacular adventure, featuring Eastenders' star Richard Blackwood and The X Factor's Amelia Lily. Performances start at 2.30pm and 7pm tomorrow and Saturday, and 2.30pm on Sunday.
  3. Also finishing this weekend is the pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk at Lighthouse, Poole's centre for the arts. Performances are at 7pm tomorrow, and 11am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
  4. Head to the Regent Centre in Christchurch on Saturday and Sunday for the screening of André Rieu's ultimate concert, 70 Years Young. Celebrate the maestro's landmark birthday with stunning musical performances, exclusive interviews and a tour of André's most remarkable concert locations. The screenings begin at 7pm and tickets are £20.50. The concert will also be broadcast at Lighthouse, Poole's centre for the arts, on Sunday at 2pm.
  5. Enjoy the pantomime without the kids with two adults-only performances of Dick Whittington at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne. The rags-to-riches story tells of a boy who travels across the country to make his fortune, only to be confronted with an almighty villain. Open to over-16s, the exclusive shows will be held at 7pm tomorrow and Saturday.
  6. A seaside walk from Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier and back is being organised for participants of Dorset Mind's RED January on Saturday at 10am.   7. Head to Druitt Hall in Christchurch on Saturday for the monthly health and wellbeing fair. There will be a range of treatments to trial and therapists to chat to, as well as stalls to browse and treats to enjoy at the Raw Vegan Café. Entry is free and the event runs from 10am to 3pm.
  8. Take part in an intensive tango workshop on Saturday afternoon at St Stephen's Church Hall in Bournemouth. Learn the basics of the Argentine classic in a friendly environment with experienced instructors. Taking place from 12pm to 3.30pm, the workshop costs £11 per person.
  9. Celebrate the start of 2020 with Bournemouth Concert Brass as they perform their New Year Viennese Concert on Sunday. The programme will feature music from classical composers associated with the city of Vienna and conclude with the wonderful waltz, the Blue Danube and the Radetsky March. The concert, held at the Regent Centre in Christchurch, begins at 3pm and tickets are £11.
  10. Poole Hill Brewery in Bournemouth presents a night of James Bond on Sunday from 7pm. The event will feature back to back films in the 16-seater cinema, two casino tables and a range of cocktails designed especially for the event, plus special guest Janet House, Bournemouth's very own Bond Girl from Tomorrow Never Dies.
