TALBOT Village Trust has recently donated £9,000 to the BH1 Elim Church (formerly Springbourne Christian Centre) for the overall renovation of the main Centre building.

The donation from Talbot Village Trust funded the renovation of the Centre, which included new windows, doors and flooring, new decoration, curtains and a new door to allow for disabled access.

Senior Minister at BH1 Elim Church, Mark Petrauskas said: "We are extremely grateful to The Talbot Trust for their generous donation, which has given a new lease of life to a church hall used by many in the community."

The new work has updated the rundown community hall to a clean, inviting and modern facility that is available to many different community groups.

Trustee at Talbot Village Trust, Russell Lucas-Rowe said: "We are always happy to help local charities with their projects that will benefit our community.

"We look forward to seeing the renovations on the Springbourne Christian Centre that will help support the kind and welcoming behaviour of the charity."

BH1 Elim Church is part of Elim Pentecostal Churches UK and is located in the heart of Bournemouth.

The Centre provides a welcoming atmosphere of fellowship for the community.

The charity operates an open-door policy for everyone in the local community and was keen to create a space to reflect these ideals.

Talbot Village Trust meets biannually and is accepting applications for funding from both previous and new applicants in the area before the Trustees meet in spring 2020.
