A MAN was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after an incident in Bournemouth last night.
Police were called at 7.17pm over concern for the welfare of a man on top of a roof in Christchurch Road.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and the man disappeared from view. The fire service and ambulance service were also called to the scene and the man was located on a lower section of the roof.
“He was taken to hospital with what were believed to be potentially life-changing injuries.”
South Western Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 7.40pm.
A spokesperson said they sent a critical care team, senior paramedic, land ambulance and air ambulance.
The man was taken to hospital by air ambulance which landed at Kings Park.
