FORECASTS for prolonged periods of wet weather have led to the Environment Agency issuing a raft of flood warnings across Dorset.
At present there are more than 20 live warnings all over the county.
Particular areas of concern are around the River Stour from Sturminster Marshall to Christchurch.

Warnings are also in place for the River Avon from Ringwood to Christchurch.
There is also a risk of groundwater flooding across the Cranborne Chase area. Further warnings are in place for regions near the River Froome in the west of the county.
The Environment Agency expects river levels to remain high for a few days. The authority said they are monitoring the area closely.
