I READ with dismay your story about the missing £100,000 from the bank account of the Coastal BID.

To add insult this has been kept secret from the public for at least four months.

I have a shop in Pokesdown and the area does not appear to have had a single benefit from the additional tax forcibly taken from local businesses to fund this expensive , poorly administered and failed, vanity project . Their office is closed, no one answers the phone and emails bounce back. No apologies or promises of reparations to local businesses have been made. No doubt the people involved, including those on the council, just hope we won’t notice.
