PREPARATIONS are being finalised for this year's Burton Christmas Tree Festival.

The event which is being held at St Luke's Church on Salisbury Road, will begin on November 30 and continue for two weeks, until December 14.

The theme of the festive event this year is 'Christmas around the World', with trees dressed to represent the chosen nation.

A prize will be given for the most popular tree.

The church will be open from 10am-4pm most days, except Sunday December 1, when it will be open from 11am until 3pm.

On Sunday December 8, it will be open from 11am-4pm.

The event will be closed on Wednesday December 11 and Thursday December 12.

Entry is free and refreshments will be provided.

On Saturday December 14, there will be a Christmas Fayre from 10am until 4pm in the church hall with grand raffle and lots of prizes.
