A PICK-UP truck was “badly damaged” in a suspected arson attack in Purbeck.
Firefighters were called to woodland behind the car park at Bere Road Coldharbour near Wareham Forest Tourist Park at 8.24pm on Wednesday.
One crew from Wareham attended and extinguished the blaze using one breathing apparatus and one hose.
The stop message was received at 9.05pm with firefighters leaving the scene at 9.40pm.
Police also attended the incident.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “It is believed the vehicle was set alight deliberately. An investigation is underway.”
