A MUM'S image of her newborn baby will feature in a forces charity calender.

Jaspar Joseph Brown's mum Pippa took the winning photo for the Little Troopers charity calendar when the tot was just 14 days old.

Pippa, who lives in West Moors, said: "I wanted to capture a beautiful image of Jasper and his dad to look back on and remember our life in the military community."

The Little Troopers Military Moments 2020 calendar features a collection of other heart-warming photos.

They portray special moments from British Armed Forces families as seen through the eyes of their children.

The Little Troopers charity was founded in 2011 by Louise Fetigan, army veteran and military parent.

She said: "Little Troopers exists to nurture that relationship and support all our military children, whatever forces life sends in their way."

Through the calendar, the charity wants to demonstrate the special bond military children have with their parents, despite the time spent apart.

Louise said: "The calendar is packed with images that encapsulate the special bond that military children have with their serving parents."

"The picture of Jasper and his dad is a great example."

The calendar is now on sale, costing £7.50.
