A MAIN road through Ferndown has reopened after a crash earlier this morning.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to Victoria Road at 8.45am after two cars were involved in a collision.
The road was shut both ways between Queens Road and the A348 Ringwood Road until around 11am.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "One person was cut free from one of the vehicles involved.
"The casualty has been taken to hospital."
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "We were called to the scene a bit later, at 9.30am.
"There were two cars involved in this collision. One woman was uninjured. However, the second casualty, another female, was trapped in the vehicle as a result of her injury."
