RAIL passengers are facing severe disruption this afternoon.
An earlier broken down train between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth is causing major delays.
All lines have now reopened, but as a result trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
South Western Railway said: "We were earlier informed that a CrossCountry train had broken down between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst. A rescue train has now attached to the faulty train and moved into Brockenhurst Station where trains can pass."
Passengers will be able to use CrossCountry services between Bournemouth and Basingstoke in both directions.
