FIRE crews from Springbourne, Christchurch and Redhill fire stations were called to a report of a blaze in a residential care home in Bournemouth on Tuesday morning.
On arrival at Coniston Lodge in Beaufort Road, crews discovered that the fire in a first floor bathroom involving an extraction fan had been extinguished prior to their arrival by onsite staff, using a foam fire extinguisher.
No one was injured or had to be treated.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wilts Fire said: "Positive pressure ventilation was used to clear the smoke from the bathroom and make the property safe."
