POLICE stopped two supercars yesterday – because their drivers weren't insured.
Officers from Dorset Police's No Excuse team pulled a McLaren and a Porsche over in Poole on a morning patrol.
An officer from the team said: "We dealt with three drivers for having no insurance.
"Two vehicles were dealt with due to the driver having no insurance to drive the vehicle.
"The third vehicle stopped for no insurance also had no tax and an expired MOT. The driver was also found in possession of cannabis."
During the same patrol, officers carried out speed checks in Sandbanks and Constitution Hill Road.
