POLICE are becoming "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of a Bournemouth teenager who was last seen six days ago.

Khadija Cordingley, aged 16, was reported missing having last been seen at around 7.30pm on Monday, September 30, at her home address in South View Place.

She is described as mixed race, around five feet five inches tall and with long black frizzy hair.

She is believed to have been wearing large hooped earrings, grey tracksuit bottoms, a parka-style jacket and white trainers.

Chief Inspector Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “It is out of character for Khadija to be away from home for this long and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“I would urge anyone with information as to her whereabouts, or who sees a teenage girl matching the description given, to please contact us.

“I would also make a direct plea to Khadija if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to make sure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Khadija’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190154802.
