A MAN stole cosmetics worth more than £1,700 during just two raids from a Castlepoint store.
Lee Marvin James, of Jewell Road in Townsend, Bournemouth, first stole products worth £937 from Boots on July 17.
Just a week later, on July 24, the 53-year-old returned to the branch to steal items worth a further £849.
James appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court last week to admit two counts of theft, as well as another count of the commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of 12 months for theft.
He has been sentenced to a community order, under which he must comply with a three-week electronically-monitored curfew. He was also ordered to pay £800 in compensation.
