POLICE stopped two drivers caught using their mobile phones in less than an hour on Friday night.
Officers from Dorset Police's No Excuse team pulled over a car in Poole Road near Westbourne after spotting the female driver holding a phone to her mouth.
A spokesperson said: "Apparently it was important as she was on a call from work.
"She received six points and a £200 fine."
The second stop happened a short time later in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth.
The officer said: "The male driver was holding the phone to his ear and talking away – another important call apparently as he didn't know where he was meeting his friend.
"He also received points and a fine."
