A DORSET-based bereavement charity has benefitted from a generous donation from J.P. Morgan.

Mosaic, a charity that offers a pathway of support for bereaved children, young people and their families, have received a windfall of over £1,000.

The contribution has gone towards producing a set of leaflets that can be personalised in a pack to provide tailored information for different families.

“We know that everyone will grieve differently and at different times therefore at Mosaic we feel it is important to support each family’s individual bereavement needs,” says Julie Monaghan, Family Therapy Services Manager.

When a home visit is made it can be very difficult for these families to take all the information in, so it is very helpful to have some materials to leave behind.

Nick Baverstock, a member of the J.P. Morgan Community Relations Committee, went along to meet some of the Mosaic team.

He said: “Mosaic is involved in some difficult and sensitive situations, so we are delighted to have been able to help in this way.”

“We are thrilled to have been chosen to receive this donation from J.P. Morgan and it will go towards helping us provide families with the much-needed information and support,” says Laura Stanley, a Mosaic Fundraiser.
