TRIBUTES have been paid to a “loving, loyal, kind, caring and considerate” Bournemouth grandfather who died in a crash.

Colin Lazenbury was riding a blue Yamaha motorbike which was involved in a collision with a green Volkswagen Sharan in West Cliff Road at 8.36am on Sunday, May 26.

The 54-year-old was taken to hospital with critical injuries and died on Sunday, July 14.

His family have paid tribute to an “amazing partner, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend”.

In a statement released by police, they said: “He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and his ability to befriend everybody.

“We are heartbroken that he has been taken from us too soon, when he still had so much to give.

“He will be deeply missed.”

A 25-year-old man from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has been released under investigation as officers continue to make enquiries into the collision.
