AS a resident of Swanage, I have noticed a dramatic and worrying change in the behaviour of seagulls, both in the town and on the beach.
They display more aggressive behaviour to those eating fish and chips, ice cream etc and lots more swooping and 'pooing' on folk.
On a daily basis I watch people feeding the gulls, especially the young students who hand feed them, whilst their friends film them.
'Do not feed the seagulls' signs are few and far between and are not really visible to visitors.
Before we have problems like they do in Cornwall, where it is now impossible to dine 'al-fresco' or enjoy an ice cream without being attacked, we need to make it clear, in big letters, do not fed the seagulls.
