INBOUND flights to Gatwick Airport are being diverted to other airports across the country due to an air traffic control problem, including Bournemouth Airport.
A flight from Ibiza, which had been due to land at Gatwick this evening, landed at the site in Hurn at 6.06pm.
Flights out of Gatwick are currently suspended due to the issue.
A statement from the London airport said: "Due to an air traffic control systems issue in Gatwick’s control tower, flights remain suspended.
"We are working with ANS, our provider, to rectify this issue as quickly as possible. We apologise and advise passengers to check flight info with your airline."
