A BURGLAR who raided student accommodation in Bournemouth has been jailed for three months.
Darren Fitzroy Waul, of Lowther Road in Bournemouth, has admitted breaking into The Outlook in Glen Fern Road on June 15.
During the burglary, which happened on June 15, 39-year-old Waul stole a rucksack which contained a driver's licence, an ID card, an iPhone 6S, phone chargers, 11 packs of cigarettes, a speaker, clothing, three bank cards and Saudi Arabian currency.
Waul pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 3.
He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison after magistrates said he has a "flagrant disregard for people and their property".
Waul was also ordered to pay £400 compensation.
