POLICE are searching for a shoplifter seen in possession of a knife in Christchurch.
Police were called at 2.56pm to a report of a shoplifter at the Currys store in Stony Lane.
It was reported that the man was in possession of a knife.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said a knife was seen but not used during the incident and no one was injured.
Officers are currently carrying out a search for the man which includes the Stony Lane Roundabout.
An eyewitness said police cars had been seen parked at the exits to the roundabout.
