A MOTORCYCLIST is still in a critical condition in hospital after a collision near Westbourne.

As reported, the air ambulance landed on West Cliff Green after a crash involving a Yamaha motorcycle, a green Volkswagen Sharan and a green Peugeot 307 at the junction of

Clarendon Road and West Cliff Road

Police and paramedics were called to the scene early on May 26.

The male rider of the motorcycle, who lives in Bournemouth, was seriously hurt in the collision. Yesterday, a spokesperson from Dorset Police said he is in a "critical but stable" condition.

A 25-year-old from Nuneaton in Warwickshire has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He is helping police with their enquiries.

Inspector Matt Butler, of the traffic unit, called for anyone with information to come forward by calling 101, quoting 26:133.
