MORE jellyfish have been spotted along the Dorset coast, this time at Hamworthy Beach.
Daily Echo Camera Club member Dan Sands took these photographs of the strange creatures after encountering them while walking along the beach.
Earlier this month around a dozen jellyfish sightings were reported in and around the conurbation's beaches and Purbeck coast.
The most commonly seen is the barrel jellyfish, which can grow to a metre wide and two-meters long.
Wildlife photographer and author Steve Trewhella, who is based in Wareham, said he thought the unseasonable April weather may have something to do with the jellyfish returning earlier than usual.
Meanwhile, Dorset Wildlife Trust has said previously that the presence of barrel jellyfish in our waters means we could see some leatherback turtles, which feed on jellyfish.
