POWER CUT
MORE than 1,200 Bournemouth homes were affected by a power cut last night.
SSEN was alerted to a fault in the Winton area at 10.53pm following a cable fault.
Electricity to all customers was restored in stages by 12.25pm.
A spokesperson said: "We’d like to sincerely apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused by last night's fault in the Winton area and thank them for their patience as our engineers worked to safely restore power as quickly as possible."
