A WOMAN armed with a knife assaulted two men before damaging a Christmas decoration, a court has heard.
Amber Hurley, of Sterte Close in Poole, was at the Grand Harbour hotel in West Quay Road, Southampton, on January 5 when she committed the offences.
The 25-year-old also assaulted two staff members and damaged a snowman ornament.
She appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court this week to admit criminal damage, possession of a knife and two counts of racially aggravated assault.
Hurley was sentenced to eight months in prison suspended for 18 months. She was also ordered to pay £100 compensation to each of her victims, as well as costs.
