ALL the details of this year's Highcliffe Food and Arts Festival can now be found in the event's printed programmes.

TV chef Rosemary Shrager features in the 32-page publication, which is sponsored by Hoburne Holidays and includes all the highlights of the festival, which takes place on June 1 and 2.

Information includes details of the chef's demonstrations and entertainment taking place, as well as listings of the stall holders. The programme also features some Rosemary Shrager recipes and articles about people taking part.

Residents living in Highcliffe, Friars Cliff and Mudeford will receive a copy through their door, but for those further afield programmes will be available in libraries, post offices, garden centres and information centres. Regular updates can also be found on highcliffefoodandartsfestival.co.uk

The festival's PR director Mary Reader said: “Expanding into the Recreation Ground has enabled us to include a much wider range of activities including our very popular cookery demonstrations sponsored by Christchurch Harbour Hotel, interactive cookery sessions by Broil King, a children’s activity tent with a ‘Grow your own’ section, children’s colouring and balloon modelling and much more.

"There will also be Chefs on Stilts, Sammy the Seahorse and Friends and Mad Hatters Tea Party and two music stages featuring some great artists. A special tea garden created by Highcliffe Castle Tearooms can be pre-booked and will sell afternoon teas and other snacks and the Lord Bute is pre-selling tickets for lunch with Rosemary Shrager at their restaurant."

New for this year will be a marquee of arts and crafts sourced by online business The Little Craft Shack, started by Loz Waters and Katya Benedetto, who share a love of beautiful and unique gifts, and there will also be regular sheep shows throughout the day in Tesco car park.
