THE Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to elect new public governors to help the views of local people be heard by the Trust.
Members of the public and staff are invited to come along to one of two new governor recruitment events being held in the Education Centre at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in Castle Lane East.
They can choose between two events which will take place at 10am and 6pm on Wednesday May 15.
Attendees can find out more about what the governor role involves and ask any questions they might have.
Existing governors will be there to share their experience of what they do in their role and to give advice to anyone interested in becoming a governor.
Governors are a key link between the Trust and members of the local community.
They ensure the views of local people are heard and fed back to the Board of Directors.
