A CAR ended up on its roof following a two-car crash in Christchurch this afternoon.
The collision happened on the B3073 Bargates road at its junction with Stour Road, near The Railway pub.
The incident involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which overturned, and a grey SsangYong Korando which suffered extensive damage to its front.
One lane was closed to allow for a clear-up operation and traffic heading out of Christchurch was diverted down Stour Road.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the scene at 2.28pm.
No one was trapped and firefighters assisted with making the scene safe.
The ambulance service also attended but it is not yet known if there were any serious injuries.
Recovery trucks removed the vehicles from the scene by 4pm.
