DORSET-BASED animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for animals in its care this week.

Alice is a seven-year-old very outgoing and friendly feline. She should be fine to live with older children and possibly a dog too.

Nelson is five years old. He is a shy lad looking for a forever home to help build his confidence. Nelson is looking for a fairly quiet home as the only pet.

Chewy is a five-year-old guinea pig who is looking for a forever home with his companion Peanut. They will need regular claw clipping and Chewy will also need some grooming.

To rehome any of these pets call Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre on 01929 480474.

Shadow is a two-year-old Siberian husky looking for an active family because once he is back to full fitness (he is currently underweight) he will benefit from lots of exercise and mental stimulation. He would be happiest as the only pet in an adult-only home.

Irwin is a handsome two-year-old greyhound with very striking white markings on his face and neck. He has a lovely, lively personality and would be best suited to a home without cats and small furries, however, he could live with fellow sighthounds and older children.

And Frieda is a seven-year-old English bull terrier and a really playful girl. She would be happy to live with a like-minded male dog with a family who have had experience of her breed or similar. Frieda could also possibly live with cats and older children too.

To rehome any of these dogs call Lincoln Farm centre on 01929 471340.
