A RANGE of Easter activities have been organised in Poole.

The town's Business Improvement District is hosting the events, which take place from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, April 20.

Members of The Parkour Project, located in The Project Climbing Centre, will be showcasing their skills on the high street, utilising moveable obstacles and safety mats. Visitors will also have the opportunity to try their hand at 'slacklining' – walking or balancing on a length of flat webbing suspended between two points.

Mad4Animals is hosting its fun and educational show from 10am until 1pm on the day, showcasing different creatures and their habitats. The interactive show features hands-on sections and will be located mid-way along the high street, opposite Paddy Power.

Justin Hundley-Appleton, Poole BID manager, said: “The BID is not only looking to increase footfall in the town, but also to increase dwell time. Providing activities and shows throughout the day means we have plenty to experience. Come rain or shine we’ll have something for everyone to enjoy.”

An Easter egg trail will lead families throughout the town, with answers to collect in order to solve a puzzle and win an Easter prize.

Morebus is providing one of its buses to host a selection of Easter activities and Diamond Faces will be offering face painting with a £1 donation to charity.
